Home Government and Public Corporation Systems

We promote an environment-friendly infrastructure through the development and supply of state-of-the-art systems.

Water supply and sewage systems such as water purification plants and waste water treatment plants, waste treatment facilities consisting of an incinerator and incidental equipment -- these are essential social infrastructures called lifelines indispensable to the present daily life. We have proceeded with government and public corporation system business by supporting Toshiba's social information system business, namely, continuously supporting stable and efficient operation of public facilities by fully utilizing high-reliability information and control technologies proven over the years.
For example, the water supply pressure and flow rate are finely controlled in water purification plants so that tap water will be supplied constantly. In wastewater treatment facilities, the drainage volume and water quality are finely controlled to be constant according to the rainwater inflow and water quality. For waste treatment facilities, we provide exceptionally advanced control technologies to constantly incinerate diversified wastes in optimum condition. Since Toshiba has delivered the control systems to these public facilities, we have also supported establishment of public corporation systems in a wide range of fields as a member of the Toshiba Group. As these public infrastructures are maintained and upgraded, we pursue development of more advanced and specialized systems based on cutting-edge engineering to accurately meet the customers' needs.

Pursuing advanced and flexible supervision and control systems

We support establishment of supervision and control systems with flexible and high-level scalability, which have introduced network technology to meet growing system sophistication and expansion.

Accommodating plant control systems using new technology

We support configuration of plant control systems which accommodate advanced purification treatment using ozone and bio-active carbon as well as conventional chlorination technology as water quality has worsened in metropolitan areas.

Contributing to waste treatment systems of local governments

Local governments have been proceeding with the introduction of new incinerators or modification of existing equipment to reduce toxic substances such as dioxin emitted during incineration of wastes. We support establishment of control systems to implement such advanced treatment equipment.
